Ron Drewry- Founder

Coast Mountain Firearms Training was founded in 2019 in beautiful Squamish, BC, by Ron Drewry after he became a RCMP certified firearms training instructor, allowing him to share his passion and knowledge of firearms with the public.

Ron has been an active member of the community for over 40 years, having volunteered his time with Search and Rescue and founding the Squamish Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue (RCM-SAR unit 04) in 2008. Firearms encompass everyday life which include being a member of the Squamish Valley Rod and Gun club, The Canadian Coalition For Firearms Rights, target shooting and hunting.

Rebecca Spitzer- Assistant

Assisting Ron with the administration side for Coast Mountain Firearms Training is his partner Rebecca Spitzer. Having grown up riding horses and raising animals on a small farm in Paradise Valley, Rebecca shares Ron’s passion for educating the public on the safe use of firearms. Coming from a hunting family, she is no stranger to firearms and is also a member of the Canadian Coalition For Firearms Rights.
